Tanker Emergency Towing Arrangement (ETA)

 Emergency Towing Arrangement on Tanker (E.T.A)
　E.T.A is in comply with the resolution IMO MSC.35(63) "Guideline for emergency towing arrangement on tanker" and regulation V/15-1 of SOLAS 1994 amendment.
　ETA is suitable for oil tanker, gas carriers and chemical tankers of not less 20000 tonnes deadweight. ETA is developed by China Shipbuilding Trading Co.,Ltd (CSTC) and China National Shipbuilding Equipment and Materials (East China ) Corp (MEM).ETA prototype strength test (twice working load and 90о sideways /30оdownward）and deployment test has been carried out. ETA has been approved by CCS , LR, NK, GL, DNV, BV and ABS.
　

　ETA has been mounted on the following ships:
　2000 m3 gas carrier (GL), five ships, built by Jiangnan Shipyard ;
　44000 t oil tanker (LR), two ships, built by Dalian Shipyard;
　110000 t oil tanker (DNV), built by Dalian New Shipyard;
　1500 t oil tanker (ABS), two ships, built by Dalian New Shipyard;
　300000 t oil tanker (DNV),five VLCC ships, built by Dalian New Shipyard;
   "ASIA STAR" oil tanker (NK).
